Windows 7 PC | I Will Be Blogging From the Rooftops

I have been enjoying using Window 7 Home Premium on my Eee PC now for just under a month and I am so impressed with the speed and ease of using it. I have a few likes with this operating system and one of my favorites is the pinning of programs. When you are like me and have 5 programs running at the same time it is so nice to be able to pin them to the task bar and just leave them here. A quick hover over will bring up a small window that will show you what you were doing in that window. This is a huge time saver for me because it just makes it easier to have everything sitting right there waiting to go.

I love that it can also create a home network that every PC using Windows 7 Home Premium can get to. So the next time I need something off of my husbands computer I don’t need to ask him to email it to me or put it on a flash drive. Nope, instead I can just surf to our network and find it in the share network folders, the ones we created in the easiest and fastest way ever.  It is the ease of use that I love, that and you would not believe how much faster Windows 7 runs than Vista. By the time I blink now things get loaded unlike me waiting quite a few minutes before I could work. I am impressed with Windows 7, haven’t liked an operating system in a long time, but this one really blows previous ones that I have used out of the water!

I am loving jump lists too, they allow me to get to files I use on a regular basis quickly and easily, just two clicks, instead of searching for things or having to fully open a program. Especially great when I need to jump browsers for compatibility. Just so many great features. So many great features and I am so happy I have had the chance to test this out, I won’t go back to anything else. For now we update all PC’s in my house with Windows 7.
