September 11 - Ten Years Later

Reflecting back on the events of this day 10 years ago, which still seems like just yesterday, I can say that my outlook on life and the way I live it has changed drastically. I live each day to the fullest that I can, but never forget to make the all important time for my family. I will never forget that day, the horrific events that unfolded, how... [Read more]

Twizzlers Landmark Summer | Days Four and Five

I have to combine days four and five in one post because day four was a rain out and the only thing we did was go see a IMAX movie about Yellowstone, which was awesome, and had lunch out. After that we swam at the indoor pool for the hotel and vegged out the rest of the day. Was good to have a day of relaxation. But day five was so new and fun, at... [Read more]

We parked the car and got out, and just as we did, Old Faithful erupted.... [Read more]

We got there a little later than we wanted so we decided to explore the city of West Yellowstone, a quaint, strip of shops, restaurants, and fun! We had lunch at McDonald’s, something we haven’t done in forever... [Read more]

I Like To Move It, Move It

Well I don’t really like to “Move It” unless it’s on the dance floor, but the time has come to pack up the car and head out to Big Sky Country! We have said goodbye to our friends, said goodbye to our extended family and have said our extremely emotional good byes to our son, Joshua (which sucked on so many levels) and we... [Read more]

19 Days Until The Big Move

Wow the last six months have just flown by, I am in shock that the year is half over. That means my cross country journey will be happening before I know it. I am more excited and more sad that my son is not coming with but know in my heart that this is the right time and the right thing to do. I wanted to let you all know too, to follow me over at... [Read more]
